Spatial Figures

I. Visualize the different spatial figures.

II. Spatial Figures

III. Preparation

Matching the figures and names of objects.

prism

cube

sphere

cone

pyramid

IV. A. Presentation:

SPATIAL FIGURES A spatial figure is one that is three dimensional, it is that simple. examples of spatial figures are the cylinder, cube, and some shapes in which u think that you can put something unto it.

B. Discussion:

1. CONE- is a three-dimensional figure that has one circular base and one vertex.

2. SPHERE- is a perfectly round geometrical object in three-dimensional space, such as the shape of a round ball.

3. CUBE- cube is a three-dimensional solid object bounded by six square faces, facets or sides, with three meeting at each vertex.

4. PRISM- a prism has the same cross section all along its length. A cross section is the shape you get when cutting straight across an object.

5. PYRAMID- is a polyhedron with a polygonal base and triangles for sides.

C. Application:

What are the spatial figures used to represent the body parts of the robot?

IV. Evaluation:

Have a fieldtrip outside the classroom. List all the things you see that resembles to the different spatial figures.

V. Assignment:
